
Dr Willy Wong Chung Hin, Specialist in Psychiatry, is the director of Hong Kong Psychiatry and Integrated Medical Centre Limited, and the psychiatrist of the University Medical Service Office, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also a Certified Sex Therapist of Hong Kong Association of Sexuality Educators, Researchers and Therapists. His academic and professional qualifications include Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, The University of Hong Kong; Membership of Royal College of Psychiatrists UK; Fellowship of Royal College of Psychiatrists UK, Fellowship of Hong Kong College of Psychiatrists; Fellowship of Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (Psychiatry); Diploma in Advances in Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong; Diploma in Practical Dermatology, Cardiff University. He also has a Master’s in Law (Medical Law), Northumbria University. He is also a certified practitioner of neuro-linguistic programming. He has a Master of Arts in Buddhist Counselling in the Postgraduate Institute of Pali & Buddhist Studies, The University of Kelaniya. He is a recipient of Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology Fellowship Award in 2015.
He is involved in voluntary work in schools and many non-government organizations. He is the Vice President of Hong Kong Sex Education Association and a board member of Hong Kong Association of Sexuality Educators, Researchers & Therapists Limited. He is currently a radio program presenter in Radio Television Hong Kong, an author and editor of many books and a columnist in newspapers and magazines for public mental health education. His clinical and academic interests include addiction, harm reduction, mood disorders, intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, pain management, psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, forensic psychiatry and sex therapy.
