
Dr Jiri Votruba, Ph,D., is a pulmonologist and internist. He graduated from the First Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague. Last 13 years he works as head physician of the First Clinic of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases at the General University Hospital in Prague and the First Faculty of Medicine of Charles University. He specializes in the treatment of respiratory diseases, the diagnosis and treatment of coughs, and smoking cessation. He is a specialist in endoscopic pulmonary procedures, both diagnostic and therapeutic, such as endoscopic volume reduction, bronchial thermoplasty, pleuroscopy, stenting techniques, coiling, etc. He is a member of Czech and international professional societies and actively participates in international events and scientific symposia every year.
