
Witold Orłowski is a Professor of Economics, lecturer at the Warsaw University of Technology Business School and the Vistula University in Warsaw, Chief Economic Advisor to PwC Poland, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Museum in Warsaw. Formerly head of the team of economic advisors to President Aleksander Kwaśniewski; member of the National Development Council to the President and the Government Economic Council; special advisor to the European Commission; advisor to Deputy Prime Minister Leszek Balcerowicz; advisor to governments and national and international organizations, and economist at the World Bank. Member of numerous supervisory boards. He has lectured at universities in Poland and abroad. Author of 16 books and 250 scientific publications, popular economic commentator, and columnist for major Polish newspapers.
