ABSTRACTS

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

All abstracts must be submitted online by Monday, July 21st, 2025. Abstracts submitted past that date will not be accepted nor abstracts submitted by e-mail. Authors will be notified on acceptance and on the form of presentation of their contribution by July 30, 2025.

  • September 30-October 1, 2025: 8th Summit Tobacco Harm Reduction by SCOHRE

REGISTRATION

Poster or oral presentations will be accepted if at least one of the authors is registered at the conference. 

Note that registration is free of charge for scientists, healthcare professionals, and students.

ORAL AND POSTER PRESENTATIONS

The Scientific Committee will decide on the final presentation type of the abstract, following evaluation.

Approved abstracts will be presented as Oral presentations (10 min) or as e-Poster presentations (5 min), on-site following communication with the authors. Presenters will participate on-site for the Q&A session following presentations. Selected presentations may be granted more time (up to 15 minutes).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

  1. All presentations (oral and e-posters) must be in English. 
  2. Both for Oral and e-Poster contributions, a one-page (300 words max.) abstract should be submitted.
  3. The abstract title should be written in capital letters.
  4. In the names of the authors please state first the name and second the surname
  5. State the authors’ affiliation(s) and city-country of origin.
  6. The presenting author’s name should be in bold.
  7. It is recommended that you follow the following structure: Background, Material and Methods, Results, Conclusions

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE ORAL & POSTER PRESENTATIONS

  1. The duration of each oral presentation should be 10 minutes and of each e-Poster presentation 5 minutes. e-Poster presentations must contain a maximum of 5 slides.
  1. Please designate one presenter; in case of multiple presenters, please note that all presenters should be registered. Please do not combine multiple presenters’ PowerPoint presentations into one file.
  2. The presenting author will receive a PowerPoint Slide Template to use for the presentation.
  3. The e-Poster authors should send their presentation to the Secretariat until the presentation submission deadline and be on-site at the time of the presentation to receive questions from the audience. 

BOOK OF ABSTRACTS

The book of abstracts will be available in print at the Summit Secretariat and electronically on the Summit website.
